On the occasion of the EUSEW 2019 (17-21 June 2019) REMOURBAN Coordinator Miguel García will head to Brussels to be among the speakers of the Samrt Cities Information System (SCIS) session dedicated to replication.
The session will illustrate how legal, regulatory and related technical bottlenecks can be overcome in practice. A discussion on the replicability of these solutions in other contexts will follow, with a focus on the common barriers to be addresses at policy level. REMOURBAN experience will be presented along with other three case studies.
Urban stakeholders who face policy and regulatory issues when implementing smart city projects are invited to participate. The session is also open to policy makers at different levels (EU, national, regional, and local) and to Distribution System Operators (companies owning and/or operating the distribution grid).
