One of the three integrated pillars of REMOURBAN is mobility and the 3-day TEN-T conference and exhibition last month was thus a compelling port of call for members of our project team.
Maria Angeles Gallego de Santiago from CARTIF and Marcello Bardellini from youris.com were on-hand at the conference for REMOURBAN which brought together over 100 different transport and mobility projects.
Held from 20 to 22 June in Rotterdam under the Netherlands’ EU presidency, this high-level event included plenary sessions where European commissioner for transport Violeta Bulc and the Dutch minister for infrastructure and environment delivered their vision on the overarching themes for all types of transport.
Our two colleagues were able to meet Violeta Bulc when she stopped at the REMOURBAN stand and viewed our mobility poster in the exhibition area to take in the main achievements in transport and mobile within our lighthouse cities.
Turn-out at the conference and the exhibition was good and it was a good opportunity to raise awareness of REMOURBAN and network with the wider transport community.
