REMOURBAN has developed a holistic model leveraging the convergence of energy, mobility and ICTs to improve energy efficiency, increase the use of renewables, reduce energy consumption and drastically reducing CO2 emissions in urban areas while transforming citizens into active actors of their cities’ renovation.
The model was implemented and validated between 2015 and 2019 in three Lighthouse cities, Valladolid (Spain), Nottingham (UK) and Tepebaşi/Eskişehir (Turkey), while replicability actions have been tested in the follower cities of Seraing (Belgium) and Miskolc (Hungary).
